There's this guy name Sam I liked for more than 10 years. Here's the problem. We both went to the same church for over 20 years, but I was too shy too say a word to him. We shared the same friends, but we never spoke to each other. It started out as a crush, but as time goes by I developed stronger feelings for him. When I was 21 he got a girl pregnant and married her. I thought it was the end of my world. Immediately after I joined the Army.Three years later they got a divorce. I took my chances and wrote him a letter telling him how I felt about him, but it seems like I scared him away instead of making progress. I haven't seen him or heard anything about him in over three years. Deep down in my heart I feel he is the one for me, but my family and friends think I'm crazy. I'm 27 and depress because I am afraid I might never get married, because I compare every guy I date to this guy.
